Oil Spill Update #1
by admin on Jul.08, 2010, under America, Signs
News out of Texas is disturbing today over the oil spill. They are now seeing tar balls from the BP oil spill. That makes 5 states in the Gulf area that is now effected by the worst oil spill in US history.
Also news from a more important variety if it is true and does come to pass……. a news article appeared today that says a well placed source in California told the reporter that the California Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) has been briefed by its counterpart agencies in the Gulf coast states that there are plans to conduct a mass evacuation of millions of Gulf coast residents due to the catastrophic environmental and public health effects of the oil disaster.
The Gulf states’ emergency planners stressed to their California counterparts that they are dealing with a disaster of unprecedented proportions and that contingency plans are being constantly updated and revised on ways to deal with the transformation of the Gulf of Mexico into a deadly toxic soup of oil and Corexit 9500 oil dispersant’s and the atmosphere into a dangerous mixture of hydrocarbon gases.
CEMA was briefed on the evacuation plans since the state would be expected to absorb a large number of evacuees.
One claim is that there is a gargantuan methane gas bubble building that will eventually erupt and immediately cause all vessels in the Gulf near the spill to instantly sink. The erupting gas will then send a tsunami of unfathomable height cascading as far inland as 200 to 300 miles.
Let us pray this does not occur. God’s people are increasingly on edge and are troubled by these events. But God has not given a spirit of fear, but one of peace. We need to look to our King since He is in charge and know that these things must come to pass in order for His Kingdom to Come!
Keep looking up!

BP oil’s profits last year were nearly 14 billion and yet they will only commit a fraction of that to help clean up a mess they are responsible, I hate the way the world works some times. That oil that spilt out could have paid for countless more productive things, hopefully this will usher in a new era of enviromental controls that help gaurentee our safety, and protect wildlife form us.

It’s so sad to see the suffering of innocent animals for the greed of a stupid oil company. It breaks my heart.
