The Nephilim were the products of fallen angels who had descended on Mount Hermon and women as presented in Genesis chapter 6. Why is this even important to the discussion of Bible Prophecy you ask? Because Jesus tells us in Matthew chapter 24 that prior to His return things would be like the Days of Noah. Giants were roaming the earth.

Apostasy entering into the church in the last days is a precursor to the return of Jesus to the earth a second time. The apostasy will take many forms but will clearly be centered around the deity of Jesus. Jesus told us the parable of the wheat and tares for a reason: to better prepare us for the fact that the Church would be made up of wheat (believers) and tares (false believers) at exactly the same time.
