Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has confirmed his faith in Jesus while
attending The Send, a huge Christian worship event held in Brazil last weekend.
Bolsonaro was not formally invited to the event but still decided to attend.
He addressed the crowd in one of the huge stadiums full of Christians declaring
that he “believes in Jesus as his savior and that Brazil belongs to
God,” ChurchLeaders.com reports.
The Send is a campaign to activate every believer into a lifestyle of
Christ-like action. Major ministries have come together for the celebration,
praying and believing that the world will turn to Jesus Christ.
The event in Brazil took place at the Brasilia National Stadium on February
8 where more than 140,000 people responded to the powerful presence of God.
One pastor tweeted, “I keep receiving news about the last Saturday:
4,877 decisions, 7,890 youth enrolled and committed to bring revival to their
schools, 6,457 enrolled to care for orphans, healings, people receiving the
Holy Spirit while watching on YouTube.”
Nearly 200 evangelical leaders spoke at the event, including Daniel Kolenda,
Christine Caine, Francis Chan and Michael Koulianos.
Koulianos wrote on Instagram, “Jesus loves Brasil! Yesterday, thousands
gave their lives to Jesus, received healing, and made the choice to be SENT to
the Nations. He is worthy of our YES!”
The energetic audience welcomed Bolsonaro with applause after he came out on
stage to speak to the crowd.
Often referred to as the Trump of the Tropics, Bolsonaro has called himself
a God-fearing man.
An assassination attempt by a knife-wielding attacker a month before
Brazil’s election almost cost Bolsonaro his life. He says it is nothing short
of a miracle that he’s alive today.
“Doctors who attended to me said that for every 100 stabbings of the
kind I endured, only one person survives. So, I am a survivor and owe my life
to God. It was His will for me to live.”
The attack became a turning point in his campaign as the populist candidate
went on to win, promising to tackle Brazil’s rampant corruption and violence
after taking office in 2019.
On his first official day as the country’s 38th president, Bolsonaro
promised to make Judeo-Christian principles a top priority in his
Bolsonaro’s motto is: “Brazil above everything, God above all.” He
believes it is a powerful statement about the importance of truth in politics.
Over the last several decades, have we ever seen a year start as strangely
as 2020 has? Global weather patterns have gone completely nuts, large
earthquakes are popping off like firecrackers, it looks like the plague of
locusts in Africa could soon develop into the worst in modern history, and a massive plague of bats
is severely terrorizing parts of Australia. On top of all that, African
Swine Fever is wiping out millions upon millions of pigs around the globe, the
H1N1 Swine Flu is killing people in Taiwan, there have been H5N1 Bird Flu
outbreaks in China and in India, and the H5N8 Bird Flu has made an appearance at a poultry facility in Saudi
Arabia. Of course the coronavirus outbreak which is causing people to
literally drop dead in the streets in China is making more headlines than
anything that I have mentioned so far, and it could potentially turn into a
horrifying global pandemic that kills millions of
But other than that, it has been a rather calm beginning to the year, eh?
I have been repeatedly warning that the time of “the perfect storm” is upon us, and many others have also
been using this terminology to describe what we are now facing.
Basically, we have entered a period of time when we will be dealing with one
terrible crisis after another, and all of these challenges will collectively
create a horrific nightmare that will just continue to intensify as time rolls
The world is facing a series of interlinked emergencies that are threatening
the existence of humans, because the sum of the effects of the crises is much
greater than their individual impacts, according to a new global study.
Climate breakdown and extreme weather, species loss, water scarcity and a
food production crisis are all serious in themselves, but the combination of
all five together is amplifying the risks of each, creating a perfect
storm that threatens to engulf humanity unless swift action is taken.
Of course the mainstream media would like to blame just about every crisis
that humanity is facing on “man-made climate change”.
In essence, they would have us believe that humanity’s “carbon footprint” is
way too large and that if we would just do everything that the socialists are
telling us to do that everything will go back to normal.
To much of the population, their arguments can seem rather compelling at
times, because without a doubt the weather is going nuts.
THE PUBLIC has been advised to stay indoors today as Storm Ciara is expected
to batter Britain with 90mph winds and heavy rain.
The 1,000 mile-wide storm, the strongest to sweep across the country for
seven years, will bring travel chaos and the advice is: only travel if
And “climate change” is also being blamed for the absolutely crazy locust
plague that is devastating parts of the Middle East and eastern Africa right
now. Approximately 360 billion locusts are eating
everything that they can find, and UN officials continue to claim that the
number of locusts could actually get “500 times” larger by the time June arrives…
With more rains expected in the region in the coming weeks, the number of
locusts if unchecked could grow by up to 500 times by June, when drier weather
Meanwhile, the crust of our planet is literally shaking like a leaf.
Are we supposed to blame “climate change” for this too?
Over the past week, the Ring of Fire has been hit by big earthquakes day after day…
EARTHQUAKES today hammered the Ring of Fire in the Pacific, as officials
detected more than 50 tremors throughout the region. One of the biggest was a
magnitude 6.2 earthquake in Indonesia.
Earthquakes have consistently rocked the Ring of Fire this week, with an
average of 50 in the region every day, most in a middling magnitude of two or
more. Some have grazed higher levels, however, with the largest pushing
But right now people are more concerned about the coronavirus outbreak in
China than anything else.
According to the latest official numbers coming out of China, there are now
more than 40,000 confirmed cases and more than 900 confirmed deaths.
Of course there is an enormous amount of skepticism about the validity of
those numbers. In fact, one exiled Chinese billionaire believes that the
true death toll could be more than
50 times higher…
Exiled Chinese businessman Guo Wengui recently revealed leaks from Wuhan
crematoriums. He claims based on the number of bodies their furnaces are
burning, the death toll could be as high as 50,000. Wengui made the bombshell
allegations in an interview with former White House chief strategist Steve
I wish that Chinese officials would just be straight with us, but one thing
that is becoming exceedingly clear is that this virus passes from person to
person very, very easily. In fact, nine members of one family in Hong
Kong all got infected “after sharing a hotpot and barbecue meal”…
Concerns about the way the virus spreads are likely to surge following a
report that nine members of the same Hong Kong family have been
infected with the deadly new coronavirus after sharing a hotpot and barbecue
meal. A hotpot – also known as a steamboat – is a bubbling
cauldron of stock shared communally, to which diners add ingredients.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the food was contaminated with the virus, or
if one of those present for dinner was a carrier.
Let us hope that the containment measures being taken in China and elsewhere
will help, but at this point the number of cases just continues to escalate.
Unfortunately, what we have witnessed so far is just the beginning.
We are only in the leading edge of “the perfect storm”, and the great
challenges that are still ahead of us will shake everyone to the core.
Most people do not know that the Mississippi River is one giant fault line
called the New Madrid fault line. If a serious earthquake was to happen, it
would be felt as far away as Atlanta. It has the potential to be as bad as a
major California Earthquake, potentially cleaving the Mississippi in half and
causing havoc all throughout the south and Midwest, not to mention destroying
major cities such as New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis, and Chicago.
There has been concern about this recently as west Tennessee and the areas
of Arkansas and Missouri that border the Mississippi River area have
experienced a small swarm of at least twenty-nine earthquakes.
A 2.7-magnitude earthquake on Tuesday morning was the latest to rattle part
of Tennessee, geologists say.
The tremor hit about 5 miles northwest of of Dyersburg at 12:35 a.m., according
to the U.S. Geological Survey. People near the city of roughly 16,000 told
geologists they felt the quake, which was more than 7 miles deep.
Some people in Dyer County, about 75 miles northeast of Memphis, reported
feeling “weak” shaking, with no damage, according to the USGS.
To the north and about one hour later, a 1.3-magnitude earthquake hit
outside the town of Ridgely, geologists say.
The quakes were the most recent in a swarm to hit Tennessee in the past
month, records show.
Eleven tremors have shaken the northwestern part of the state since Jan. 7,
according to the USGS. The largest of those were 2.5-magnitude earthquakes,
also hitting near Dyersburg and Ridgely last month, officials say.
Quakes have also been reported nearby in Arkansas and Missouri, bringing the
regional total to 29, records show. (source)
The coronavirus outbreak that is raging all over China right now has been
making headlines on a daily basis all over the globe, and rightly so. At
this point we don’t know if it will ultimately become a horrifying global
pandemic that will affect tens of millions of people, but what we do know is
that the virus spreads very easily and the number of cases has been rising at an exponential rate.
Meanwhile, three other plagues have also been marching across Asia, and most
people in the western world don’t even realize that this is happening.
What I am about to share with you in this article is quite chilling, and the
months ahead will be very dark if these plagues continue to spread.
Long before we ever heard of this new coronavirus, African Swine Fever was
devastating pork farms from one end of China to the other. There is no
vaccine for “pig ebola”, there is no cure, and once it hits a farm the only
thing that can be done is to kill every single pig so that it won’t spread
anywhere else. But even though draconian measures have been implemented,
it has just kept spreading, and at this point “about two-thirds of China’s swine herd has been lost”…
Video of people fighting over pork at Chinese meat counters will likely
become more common as the fallout from the African swine fever outbreak in
Brett Stuart, president of the market research and analysis firm Global
AgriTrends, estimates that about two-thirds of China’s swine herd has
been lost to the disease and contrary to official government reports
of recovery, more pigs are dying every day as ASF continues to spread.
Prior to this crisis, approximately half of all the pigs in the entire world
lived in China, and they would usually slaughter about 700 million a
year. But now pork production has absolutely plummeted, and this is
driving pork prices in China through the roof…
In China itself, pork prices are at an all-time high at just under $300 per
hundredweight and the country outbids Japan, which is usually the top bidder. Food
inflation is soaring and some Chinese people have been unable to buy pork in
Unfortunately, this insidious disease has also been devastating farms in
many other nations all over the planet. In particular, Cambodia, North
Korea, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines have been hit particularly
It has been estimated that one out of every four pigs in the entire world has already died, and this crisis
is far from over.
Fortunately, African Swine Fever does not affect humans, but this new
coronavirus seems perfectly suited to be transmitted from person to
person. Johns Hopkins has put up a map that is continually updated, and
according to the latest official numbers there are now 14,637 cases and the
death toll has risen to 305. But by the time you read this article those
numbers are likely to be even higher.
Of course many are extremely skeptical that the official numbers coming out
of China are accurate, and this is something that I have written about repeatedly. There have been multiple reports that
indicate that China has been falsely categorizing the deaths of many of the
victims to keep the death toll down, and it is also suspicious that so many
corpses are being taken “directly to the crematorium”…
Radio Free Asia (RFA)
has tweeted a disturbing video on its Twitter account on Saturday morning
detailing how those who died of coronavirus in Wuhan, the outbreak area
in China, were loaded up on a bus and taken “directly to the crematorium.”
RFA said (in a translated tweet): “[Latest Situation of Wuhan Fifth
Hospital] Some Wuhan citizens entered Wuhan Fifth Hospital on February 1st and
found many patients who died of pneumonia. The corpses were packed directly to
the crematorium. Paramedics are busy rescuing the dying patient.”
RFA’s video is in line with our report from Friday that said those who
died of the deadly virus were hauled off to a crematorium in Wuhan by Chinese
At this point we don’t know how bad this outbreak will ultimately become,
but we do know that the very first death outside of China has now been confirmed…
The Philippine Department of Health said a 44-year-old Chinese
man from Wuhan was admitted on Jan. 25 after experiencing a fever, cough, and
sore throat. He developed severe pneumonia, and in his last few days, “the
patient was stable and showed signs of improvement, however, the condition of
the patient deteriorated within his last 24 hours resulting in his demise.”
The man’s 38-year-old female companion, also from Wuhan, also
tested positive for the virus and remains in hospital isolation in Manila.
Meanwhile, there has been a very alarming resurgence of the H5N1 bird flu in
According to the Daily Mail, more than 17,000
chickens have been culled in an effort to keep this new outbreak from spreading
China has reportedly seen an outbreak of a ‘highly pathogenic’ strain of
H5N1 bird flu which has already killed 4,500 chickens.
The outbreak was initially reported at a farm in Shaoyang city in the
southern province of Hunan, south of the epicentre of the Coronavirus in Wuhan.
According to the Reuters report, Chinese authorities have already culled
17,828 poultry in the wake of the outbreak.
Unlike African Swine Fever, humans can become infected by the H5N1 bird flu.
And according to the World Health Organization, the mortality rate for human
cases is approximately 60 percent.
So let us hope that this current outbreak remains limited to chickens.
Authorities in an eastern Indian state will start culling chickens and
destroying eggs from Tuesday to contain a bird flu virus of the H5N1 strain, a
government statement said on Monday.
The samples collected from a poultry breeding and research farm of a
veterinary college in Odisha state tested positive, the statement said.
We haven’t heard much about the H5N1 bird flu in recent years, but this is
an extremely deadly disease, and so we will want to monitor these developments
On top of everything else, the H1N1 swine flu is starting to spread once
again. In fact, more than 100,000 people in Taiwan “sought medical
treatment for flu-like symptoms at hospitals across the country over the past
week” and there have been 13
At a time when the world is panicking over a 2019-nCoV coronavirus outbreak,
the H1N1 flu virus is actually posing a greater threat in Taiwan, claiming 13
lives in the country in just one week, according to the Centers for Disease
At a weekly meeting Friday, CDC Deputy Director-General Chuang Jen-hsiang (莊人祥)
said 116,705 people sought medical treatment for flu-like symptoms at hospitals
across the country over the past week, including 61 more confirmed flu cases.
Not too long ago, the H1N1 swine flu caused mass panic all over the globe,
and I personally knew someone that was killed by it.
So the truth is that all of these outbreaks are very concerning.
And never before have we seen so many alarming outbreaks occur
simultaneously. Could it be possible that we have entered a period of time when mass
pandemics are going to become “the new normal”?
Hopefully none of these current outbreaks will end up killing millions of
people all over the globe.
But we have been warned for a long time about how vulnerable we are, and the
experts assure us that it is just a matter of time before a mass pandemic
brings death to every corner of the planet.
Billions of locusts are eating everything in sight in east Africa right now,
and every single day many more farms are being completely wiped out.
Unfortunately, authorities are telling us that what we have seen so far is just
the tip of the iceberg. In fact, if extreme measures are not implemented
immediately, authorities are claiming that this locust plague could literally
get “500 times” worse in a few months. But it is difficult to imagine
conditions getting any worse than they are at this moment. Ravenous
locust swarms that are “the size of cities” are consuming crops at a staggering
pace, and this could potentially cause famine on the African continent that is
unlike anything we have ever seen before.
It can be difficult to imagine a plague of “billions” of locusts.
After all, there are only about 7 billion people living on the entire planet.
But this is actually happening. Right now “billions of locusts” are absolutely devastating east
Africa, and each one can eat “its own weight in food every day”…
Billions of locusts swarming through East Africa could prove
disastrous for a region still reeling from drought and deadly floods, experts
have warned, amid increasing calls for international help.
Dense clouds of the ravenous insects, each of which
consumes its own weight in food every day, have spread from Ethiopia and Somalia into Kenya, in the region’s worse
infestation in decades.
It would be hard to overstate what this is going to mean for the
region. According to the FAO, this plague is an
“unprecedented threat to food security and livelihoods in the Horn of Africa”…
The United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organisation has described the
situation as “extremely alarming,” representing an “unprecedented threat to
food security and livelihoods in the Horn of Africa.”
We have seen starvation in Africa before. In fact, there was a time
when our airwaves were filled with images of starving African children.
But if this plague continues to get even worse, the stage is being set for a
famine that is far greater than anything that any of us have ever witnessed.
“A typical desert locust swarm can contain up to 150 million locusts per
square kilometer,” the East African regional body, the Intergovernmental
Authority on Development, has said. “Swarms migrate with the wind and can cover
62 to 93 miles in a day. An average swarm can destroy as much food crops in a
day as is sufficient to feed 2,500 people.”
And it is important to note that some of these swarms are many times that
The UN on Wednesday allocated $10 million for aerial spraying, with
humanitarian chief Mark Lowcock saying families across the region “now face the
prospect of watching as their crops are destroyed before their eyes.”
The truly frightening part of this story is that we are being told that the
worst is yet to come.
If you can believe it, and I know that this sounds absolutely nuts, but UN
officials are actually warning that this plague of locusts could get “500 times” larger when warmer weather arrives…
When rains arrive in March and bring new vegetation across much of the
region, the numbers of the fast-breeding locusts could grow 500 times before
drier weather in June curbs their spread, the United Nations says.
If what the UN is telling us is accurate, and I have no reason to believe
that it isn’t, then Africa is facing a nightmare of almost unbelievable proportions.
Yes, I keep warning that “the perfect storm” is here, but the scale of the plague
that Africa is potentially facing is very hard to imagine.
With hundreds of billions of locusts potentially eating crops all across
Africa, what will be left for people to eat?
But now nobody has any idea how there will possibly be enough food for
1.2 billion people live in Africa. That is a lot of mouths to feed,
and right now the locusts are stripping farm after farm completely bare.
I know that I have been writing about the coronavirus outbreak a lot in recent
days, but this crisis could potentially kill far more people. We have
reached a time when global events have really started to accelerate, and the
months ahead promise to be quite challenging for all of us.
The Pontiff has not yet announced any plans to step down, but a journalist
working with the Vatican has claimed that it could happen as early as next
A centuries-old apocryphal prophecy foretells the end of times after the
last pope. The same text says Pope Francis could be that last one.
The Prophecy of the Popes is a list of 112 popes and antipopes in
succession. It was first published in 1595 by monk Arnold Wion in Lignum
Vitæ, a book on the history of the Benedictine order.
Wion attributed it to Saint Malachy, the 12th-century Irish saint and
Archbishop of Amragh. According to a later account, the manuscript with Malachy
prophecy was stored in the Vatican archives but was forgotten until its
rediscovery in 1590.
The text contains (often metaphoric) mottos/descriptions of pontiffs; the
first description on the list is widely believed to be attached to Pope
Celestine II (1143-1144). If those descriptions are matched one by one with the
list of his successors, Pope Francis would be the last, 112th pope. According
to the prophecy, the last pope is identified as ‘Peter the Roman’.
This is what it says of his papacy: “Peter the Roman, who
will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are
finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge
will judge his people. The End.”
The penultimate pope on the list is described as ‘glory of the olive’.
Proponents of the prophecy view it as a reference to Benedict XVI, Francis’s
predecessor, who chose his papal name after Saint Benedict of Nursia. The
latter was the founder of the Benedictine order, which comprises the Olivetans.
As for Francis himself, there is a far-fetched theory that ‘Peter the Roman’
has a connection with Saint Francis of Assisi, whose father was named Pietro
Is this prophecy to be believed?
There is no historical consensus on the veracity of the text, but several
researchers have pointed to the fact that the verses referring to popes who
reigned up until around 1590 are very accurate (they often refer to papal
heraldry), but the descriptions for the popes that follow are rather vague.
This means the prophecy was likely forged around the time it was published,
which could explain the rapid decline in accuracy.
Malachy’s biographer and contemporary, Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, has left
no mention of the prophecy. An Irish priest named O’Brien, who wrote an 1880
monograph on the text, believed that it was based on a 1557 list of popes that
included their heraldry.
O’Brien said: “It is impossible to attribute such absurd
triflings … to any holy source. Those who have written in defence of the
prophecy … have brought forward scarcely an argument in their favour. Their attempts
at explaining the prophecies after 1590 are, I say with all respect, the
Why would Pope Francis want to resign?
Pope Francis (born Jorge Mario Bergoglio) took the Catholic Church in 2013,
following the resignation of Benedict XVI, then 86 years of age, due to
declining health. Roman popes typically reign from election until death, with
Benedict becoming the first pontiff to relinquish the office in around 600
Francis, now 83, has not given any word so far on whether he would ever
resign. However, Catholic journalist Austen Ivereigh, who authored Pope Francis’
biography, claimed in 2015 that Pope could step down as early as next year.
He said in a TV interview: “I don’t think there’s ever been
any doubt that that’s what he’s gonna do (resign in 2020).”
“He made clear from the beginning that he regarded Pope Benedict’s act as a
prophetic act of great humility and he would have absolutely no problem in
doing the same.”
“What was interesting was that he said to Mexican television [in 2014] that
he believed that he would have a short papacy he thought of about five years.
“But what I’m hearing now from people close to him is that he’s going to
need seven years to achieve his five-year plan and that, of course, would mean
staying on until 2020.”
Pope Francis also faced calls to resign last year in the wake of massive sex
scandals that have rocked the Church. Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano wrote an open letter claiming that he had informed Pope
Francis about sexual assault allegations against Theodore McCarrick, the former
archbishop of Washington, but the Pope turned a blind eye to them.
“In this extremely dramatic moment for the universal
Church,” Vigano wrote, “[Pope Francis] must acknowledge his mistakes and,
in keeping with the proclaimed principle of zero tolerance, Pope Francis must
be the first to set a good example to Cardinals and Bishops who covered up
McCarrick’s abuses and resign along with all of them.”
Several senior figures in the Catholic Church criticised Vigano’s
accusations as unsubstantiated, while Pope Francis maintained that he “knew
nothing” about McCarrick’s crimes. “I don’t remember if [Vigano] told me about
this,” he said. “If it’s true or not. No idea! But you know that about McCarrick,
I knew nothing. If not, I wouldn’t have remained quiet, right?”
The mysterious new virus that is starting to spread very rapidly in China has
global health officials extremely concerned. On Wednesday, the World
Health Organization will convene an emergency meeting to discuss whether this
outbreak should be “declared a global
health crisis”, and screeners are being put in place at airports all over
the world. But to a certain extent it may already be too late, because we
know that this virus has already spread via airplane to at least three other
countries. And since the early symptoms of this disease are so similar to
what one would expect after coming down with a common cold, there could potentially
be countless numbers of victims that have not even gone to the hospital because
they don’t think that anything is seriously wrong.
Health officials in China are telling us that this is a “new strain of
coronavirus”, and they believe that it probably originated at a seafood market
When the outbreak first started, they told us that it was not likely that
there would be widespread human-to-human transmission.
But then later they were forced to admit that it was likely that
human-to-human transmission was happening on a limited basis, and now they have
finally been forced to admit that this virus can pass from person to person quite
On January 17th, it was being reported that there were only 48 people that
had caught this virus, but over the weekend the number of official cases suddenly tripled…
The number of people infected with a new virus in China tripled over the
weekend, with the outbreak spreading from Wuhan to other major cities.
There are now more than 200 cases, mostly in Wuhan, though the respiratory
illness has also been detected in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
As I write this article, the latest official count I can find is 222 victims, and that means that the
number of cases has actually more than quadrupled since
But by the time many of you read this article, that number is likely to be
An 89-year-old man has become the fourth victim to die from
this virus, but many more are currently in critical condition, and it has
become quite clear that this bug can be very deadly for humans.
Originally, Chinese officials were hoping to keep this virus mostly confined
to Wuhan and the surrounding areas, but now cases have been popping up in other major Chinese
Five people in Beijing and 14 in Guangdong have been diagnosed with the
coronavirus, CCTV reported Monday evening. A total of seven suspected cases
have been found in other parts of the country, including in Sichuan and Yunnan
provinces in the southwest and in Shanghai.
Now that this disease has spread so widely, it is going to be much more
difficult to get it under control.
If this virus did not spread easily between people, that would not have
There is also a tremendous amount of concern about how easily this virus can
be transported via airplane.
Prior to Monday, we already knew about incidents where infected people flew
from China to Japan and Thailand, and now South Korea has reported their first
South Korea on Monday reported its first confirmed case of the China
coronavirus, fuelling concerns that the pneumonia-like illness could be
spreading across Asia.
A 35-year-old woman trying to enter the country from Wuhan, China, where the
virus is thought to have originated, tested positive after being screened for
symptoms at Incheon International Airport on Sunday.
We still don’t know if this is going to develop into a very serious global
crisis or not, but things are definitely looking more ominous than they did just a few days ago.
Early symptoms of the disease include congestion, fever, coughing, shortness
of breath and breathing difficulties. But like I said before, many
victims could simply assume that they have a common cold. And before they
realize that something really serious is happening to them, they could
potentially expose the virus to countless others.
In other words, the number of people that will be traveling for this holiday
is greater than the entire population of the United States.
And in that sort of an environment, diseases can be spread like wildfire.
Here in the United States, it has been announced that airport officials will
passengers” as they arrive from the city of Wuhan…
Federal health officials said on Friday that they would begin screening
passengers arriving at three US airports from Wuhan, China, for signs of
infection from a mysterious and potentially deadly new virus.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said it would deploy
about 100 staff members to San Francisco International Airport, Los Angeles
International Airport, and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York
City to help screen incoming passengers.
That is a good first step, but could it be possible that infected passengers
have already arrived?
And since this virus has already spread to other Chinese cities, shouldn’t
all passengers arriving from China be screened?
I understand that would be a dramatic step to take, but it has become clear
that this virus is quite deadly, and it has also become clear that it can
spread from person to person very easily.
Over in Asia, dramatic steps are already being taken. If you want to
get an idea of what is already being done, just watch this very creepy video.
Hopefully this crisis will fade soon, but scientists have warned us that it
is just a matter of time before the next great pandemic breaks out, and without
a doubt we are highly vulnerable.
In particular, the very young, the very old and those with compromised
immune systems would be at the highest risk if this virus started spreading
rapidly here in North America.
Let’s hope that it doesn’t come to that. Global health authorities are
going to be doing all that they can to get this virus under control, and other
health scares in the past have turned out to be mostly hype.
But if cases of this new virus continue to grow at an exponential rate, the
death toll will quickly become quite alarming, and there will be a tremendous
amount of panic all over the globe.
It is almost as if someone flipped some sort of a switch as 2020 began,
because we have been seeing really weird things happen all over the globe so
far this year. Later in this article I want to talk about the large
earthquakes and strange weather events that we have seen over the past few
days, but first I want to discuss the massive armies of locusts that are
voraciously eating crops in Asia and in Africa. Right now, a “deadly
invasion by millions and millions of locusts” in India is absolutely
devastating farm after farm, and the media in India is calling this locust
invasion “the worst in over six
Parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan are in the midst of a deadly invasion
by millions and millions of locusts, leaving the farmers there in
distress. The invasion which began in October is said to be the worst
in over six decades.
According to reports, crops of some 3.6 lakh hectares in 10 districts as
western Rajasthan have been damaged by the locusts so far. The Locust Warning
Organization (LWO) said that the current wave of attack was by Pink locusts
which are flying in from Pakistan.
As bad as things are in India, the truth is that they are even worse in
According to the UN, the desert locusts that have been
ravaging fields in Ethiopia and Somalia are now pouring into Kenya…
The UN has warned of a “significant and extremely dangerous”
escalation in the number of desert locusts descending on Kenya, as the
government strives to contain the threat before it reaches the country’s
The tropical grasshoppers have been wreaking havoc on Kenya’s neighbours to
the north and east, devouring tens of thousands of hectares of crops in
Ethiopia and Somalia since last June.
Here in the United States, we tend to think of a “swarm” as a few hundred
But over in Africa, these “swarms” can literally take over an entire section
of a country. For example, the FAO says that one of the locust swarms in
Kenya “measured 2,400 sq km”…
Each square kilometre of locusts in a swarm can eat as much in a day as
35,000 people, according to the FAO. One locust swarm seen in Kenya
measured 2,400 sq km.
“There is an unprecedented threat to food security and livelihoods”
across the Horn of Africa, the FAO said.
I can’t even imagine what a 2,400 square kilometer locust army would look
like, but I think that it is fair to say that it qualifies as a “plague of
Meanwhile, earthquakes continue to pop up in unusual places.
The U.S. Geological Survey said a magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck about 2
miles (3 kilometers) southwest of Hutchinson shortly after 1 p.m. The service
had initially reported that it was a magnitude 4.4 earthquake, but later
The earthquake struck as the Kansas Corporation Commission investigates the
cause of a swarm of 17 earthquakes in five days in August the same area of
central Kansas. The regulatory agency’s investigation is focused on the
underground disposal of oilfield waste that’s been blamed for quakes elsewhere
in southern Kansas.
A strong inland earthquake has struck Indonesia’s easternmost Papua
province, but there were no immediate reports of major damage or casualties.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 6.0 quake was centered 141
kilometers west of Abepura, a city at a depth of 33.6 kilometers.
But these days large earthquakes are happening so frequently that they
barely make a blip in the news. A similarly large earthquake just hit China, but hardly anyone in
the U.S. even knows that it happened…
According to reports, A powerful magnitude 6.4 earthquake has struck in
Jiashi County of northwest China’s autonomous Xinjiang. The earthquake was
reported to have a depth of 165m and took place at 9:21 pm local time.
Witnesses say the shaking was felt in the cities of Kashgar and Artux. At
this time there are no reports of fatalities or damage. This is the third
earthquake that has struck in Southern Xinjiang, China in the past 47 hours.
That quake in China was later downgraded to a magnitude 6.0 event, but that
is still very significant.
In some parts of the planet, the shaking simply does not stop. Over in
the Philippines, there have been more than 400 earthquakes associated with the
eruption of Taal volcano since last Sunday…
Since Sunday, a staggering 466 earthquakes have been recorded, and experts
warn more eruptions may still come.
Of those quakes, 156 were recorded as being intensity one to four.
Phivolcs Volcano Monitoring and Eruption Prediction Division chief Mariton
Bornas said: “For volcanic earthquakes, that is strong.”
And as I have written about previously, more than 1,000 earthquakes have shaken
Puerto Rico in recent weeks. Many residents continue to sleep outside
because they are deathly afraid that their homes will collapse on top of them
while they are sleeping if another big quake suddenly strikes.
On top of everything else, global weather patterns continue to go haywire.
The highest temperature recorded on the red planet Wednesday morning was -17
C, according to NASA, which was still a few degrees above Alberta, where the
warmest temperature recorded was –21.2 C, at Nakiska Ridge in Kananaskis
In Calgary, it reached a low of –31.2 C early Wednesday, according to
Environment Canada, while in Edmonton the mercury dipped to –34 C.
And along with Mars, Alberta was colder than a number of other well-known
spots, like Siberia, which sat at –11 C Wednesday morning, and Nuuk, Greenland,
where it was –12 C.
Premier Dwight Ball said he had asked for the federal government’s
assistance, including mobilizing the armed forces, after the blizzard battered
Rob Carroll, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, said St. John’s had
experienced a one-day snowfall of 76.2 centimeters (30 inches), breaking the
previous record of 68.4 centimeters (27 inches) on April 5, 1999.
On an almost daily basis, we are seeing natural disasters happen that are
unlike anything we have ever seen before, and what we have witnessed so far is just the beginning.
Despite all of our advanced technology, we remain exceedingly dependent on
the natural environment that surrounds us, and that natural environment is
becoming increasingly unstable.
We are truly entering uncharted territory, and most people cannot even
imagine the great challenges that lie ahead for all of us.
There has never been a time in
modern human history when our planet has been changing as rapidly as it is
changing right now. The sun is behaving very strangely, freakishly cold
weather is breaking out all over the world, ocean temperatures continue to
rise, volcanoes all over the globe are shooting ash miles into the air,
Australia is experiencing the worst wildfires that they have ever seen, and the
north magnetic pole has been moving at a pace that is deeply alarming
scientists. Could it be possible that all of this bizarre activity is
leading up to some sort of a crescendo?
Sadly, most people don’t even
realize what is happening, and that is because the mainstream media only
emphasizes stories that fit with the particular narratives that they are
But it has gotten to the point where
nobody can deny that really weird things are happening. The following are
7 major earth changes that are happening right now that everyone needs to know
According to NASA, solar activity has dropped to the lowest level in 200
years. The following comes from the official NASA website…
The forecast for the next solar
cycle says it will be the weakest of the last 200 years. The maximum of this
next cycle – measured in terms of sunspot number, a standard measure of solar
activity level – could be 30 to 50% lower than the most recent one. The results
show that the next cycle will start in 2020 and reach its maximum in 2025.
Of course NASA insists that
everything will be just fine, but others are wondering if this lack of solar
activity could potentially spawn another “Little Ice Age”…
When solar activity gets really low,
it can have the effect of a “mini ice age.” The period
between 1645 and 1715 was marked by a prolonged sunspot
minimum, and this corresponded to a downturn in temperatures in Europe and
North America. Named after astronomers Edward Maunder and his
wife Annie Russell Maunder, this period became known as the Maunder Minimum. It is also known as “The Little Ice Age.”
When solar activity gets very low, it has traditionally meant very cold and
very snowy winters, and right now we are seeing snow in places that are extremely unusual…
The Egyptian capital, Cairo, was
also turned white at the start of the month, despite the city not having snow
in 112 years, and experiencing less than an inch of rain each year.
Many parts of Greece were covered in
snow in early January, with low temperatures and strong frost.
The cold front named ‘Hephaestion’,
after an Ancient Greek army general, thrashed the Greek landscape, bringing
rain, sleet and ice in the east.
Meanwhile, the oceans of the world just keep getting hotter and hotter.
In fact, ocean temperatures off the California coast have been setting new all-time record highs.
It is odd that this is taking place at a time of such low solar activity, but
NBC News this is definitely happening…
The world’s oceans hit their warmest
level in recorded history in 2019, according to a study published Monday that
provides more evidence that Earth is warming at an accelerated pace.
The analysis, which also found that
ocean temperatures in the last decade have been the warmest on record, shows
the impact of human-caused warming on the planet’s oceans and suggests that
sea-level rise, ocean acidification and extreme weather events could worsen as
the oceans continue to absorb so much heat.
There have always been wildfires, but we have never seen anything like
this. During the summer, countless catastrophic fires burned millions
upon millions of acres in the Amazon rainforest, and this winter Australia’s
fires have actually been a total of 46
percent larger than the fires that we
witnessed in the Amazon. Australia has never seen anything like this
before, and according to NASA the smoke from these fires will completely circle the Earth…
Once was bad enough, but smoke from
Australia’s devastating bushfires is set to return to the country to complete a
round-the-world trip that has seen it impact on air quality as far away as
By Jan. 8, the smoke had made its
way halfway around the world and will make at least one full circuit, according
to scientists at NASA, citing satellite tracking data. New Zealand experienced
severe air quality issues, while hazy skies and colorful sunsets and sunrises
were seen in parts of Chile and Argentina.
During the first half of 2020, volcanoes all over the world have been roaring
to life and have been shooting giant clouds of hot ash miles into the sky.
For example, in the Philippines the Taal volcano shot ash nine miles into the air
on Sunday, it has also been shooting scorching hot lava half a mile into the
air, and the ground around the volcano is starting to crack wide open.
The gray ash is knee-deep. It covers
the homes, the bloated cadavers of cows and horses, their limbs protruding at
unnatural angles in the shadow of a sulking volcano that could re-explode at
“My home is now gone,” said Melvin
Mendoza, 39, a boatman who returned on Tuesday to Taal, the volcanic island in
the middle of a freshwater lake just 40 miles south of Manila, which erupted on
Sunday like an atomic bomb mushroom cloud.
Let us hope that this volcanic
activity does not spread throughout that general area, because the largest
super volcano caldera in the entire world has been discovered not too far from the Philippines…
A team including members from GNS
Science have identified an ancient mega-volcano that could have the largest
known caldera on Earth.
The 150km (93.2 miles) wide feature
is on the crest of Benham Rise, an oceanic plateau off the Philippines coast.
In comparison, the caldera at Taupō is about 35km (21.8 miles) wide, and that
at Yellowstone about 60km (37.3 miles).
All of this is taking place while the north magnetic pole is moving toward
Russia at a very rapid pace. The following comes from CNN…
The north magnetic pole has been
slowly moving across the Canadian Arctic toward Russia since 1831, but its
swift pace toward Siberia in recent years at a rate of around 34 miles per year
has forced scientists to update the World Magnetic Model — used by civilian
navigation systems, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and US and British
militaries — a year ahead of schedule.
On top of everything else, the Earth’s magnetic field has been steadily
weakening over time, and this has some experts extremely concerned…
In a forum on Quora, science fiction
writer and journalist C Stuart Hardwick revealed that satellite data, such as
those collected by the European Space Agency’s SWARM mission, revealed that the
magnetic field has been weakening for about 5 percent each century. He noted
that currently, the strength of the magnetic field is at 29.5 microteslas,
which is 14 percent weaker than its previous state three centuries ago.
According to Hardwick, the SWARM satellites detected increased deterioration
within regions of the magnetic field over North America. He said these regions
weakened by about 3.5 percent over the span of just three years.
Without our magnetic field, life on
Earth could not exist for long.
And it doesn’t have to disappear
completely to be a massive problem. If it simply gets weak enough,
dwelling on the surface is going to become exceedingly difficult.
As I keep warning, our planet is becoming
increasing unstable, and what we have experienced so far is just the beginning.
The demands of life can often cause
us to focus on things that don’t really matter. Hopefully we can get more
people to wake up while there is still time, because the clock is ticking for
humanity and for our planet as a whole.
“Therefore shall heaven be shaken, And earth leap out of its place, At the
fury of God of Hosts On the day of His burning wrath.” Isaiah 13:13
(The Israel Bible™)
Three volcanoes in three separate parts of the world became active in the
last three days, setting off fears that an end-of-days smelting process that
will destroy one-third of the world is beginning. Rabbi Nir Ben Artzi, an
Israeli mystic with a penchant for prophecy, suggested several causes and
solutions for this seismic threat.
On Sunday, Taal Volcano located in the big island of Luzon about 37 miles south of
the capital Manila in the Philippines, became active, emitting a giant
plume of ash. Rumbling sounds and tremors were also reported. Authorities fear
it is about to experience a hazardous explosive eruption. Ashfalls and volcanic
thunderstorms were reported and its status is currently set at alert level 4
out of a possible 5. This means that the volcano showed signs of a possible hazardous
and explosive eruption. Dangers of a possible volcanic tsunami were
also feared. All flights from Manila’s national airport were canceled.
Over 450,000 people are estimated to be residing within the 14-kilometer
danger zone of the Taal Volcano. Emergency services reported that over 7,700
people are in 38 evacuation centers.
If it erupts again, the ash, which carries microscopic shards of glass
hazardous to the lungs, could potentially be carried 60 miles or more,
contaminating the air and water supplies in distant locations. More than 25
million people live within 100 kilometers of the volcano.
The volcano has had 34 eruptions in the past 450 years, most recently in
1977, causing loss of life on the island and the populated areas surrounding
the lake, with the death toll estimated at around 6,000.
On Saturday, Mt. Shintake erupted on an island in southwestern Japan. Rocks
were thrown about 300 meters from the crater but no pyroclastic flow
(fast-moving current of hot gas and volcanic matter) was detected. The alert
level is currently set at level 3
Shintake erupted in October with the alert level being set at 3.
No evacuation order was issued. About one hundred people are registered as
residents on the island, which is nearly 14 square miles in size.
Last Thursday, Mount Popocatepetl, Mexico’s most active volcano located
about 43 miles southeast of Mexico City, rumbled to life in spectacular fashion,
spewing forth lava and clouds of ash. Glowing rocks were reportedly thrown
20,000 feet into the sky.
The eruption was so violent that it could be detected from space.
Authorities issued a yellow phase 2 alert, meaning the volcano showed signs
of elevated unrest.
Popocatépetl is one of the most active volcanoes in Mexico and the most
famous, having had more than 15 major eruptions since the arrival of the
Spanish in 1519.
RING OF FIRE
All three volcanoes are in the
Pacific Ring of Fire. Most earthquakes and volcanic eruptions do not strike
randomly but occur in specific areas, such as along plate boundaries. One such
area is the circum-Pacific Ring
of Fire, where the Pacific Plate meets many surrounding plates.
The Ring of Fire is the most seismically and volcanically active zone in the
The Ring of Fire, a 25,000-mile-long horseshoe-shaped region encompassing
the Pacific ocean, is the most seismically active area on the planet. It
includes most of California,
Washington State, and Alaska. The Ring of Fire includes a total of 452
volcanoes, more than 75 percent of active volcanoes existing in the world
today. About 90 percent of the world’s earthquakes and 81 percent of the
world’s largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. All but three of the
world’s 25 largest volcanic eruptions of the last 11,700 years occurred at
volcanoes in the Ring of Fire.
There is no doubt that volcanic activity is on the rise. There were about 25
significant volcano eruptions globally in the first 18 years of this century compared
with approximately 65 in the entire 20th century. This increased activity and
intensity are magnified due to recent population growth in the affected regions
of the Pacific. This point was tragically illustrated in 2004 when a
magnitude-9.2 earthquake, the third-largest in recorded history, struck off
northern Sumatra, generating a tsunami that killed almost 240,000 people. This
point was further emphasized in 2011 when a magnitude-9.0 earthquake hit
Northern Japan and the subsequent tsunami killed nearly 16,000 people.
“Natural disasters, rain, floods, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, political
complications in several countries,” Rabbi Ben Artzi warned.
The rabbi also predicted aircraft disasters, such as happened in Iran last
week when their military shot down a passenger airliner, killing all 176 people
“Buses and trains will crash and many bridges will fall,” the rabbi warned.
“ But this will all take place outside the Land of Israel. All the disasters
will be abroad. Nothing in Israel will happen. There will be good rain, rain of
blessing in Israel.”
The rabbi said that all this is to prepare the world for the imminent
revelation of the final redemption. In the Bible, volcanoes
and seismic activity are connected with God’s anger, especially in the context
of the End of Days.
Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble, and the earth shall be shaken
out of her place, for the wrath of Hashem of hosts, and for the day of His
fierce anger. Isaiah 13:13
And I will bring the third part through the fire and will refine them as
silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried; they shall call on My
name and I will answer them; I will say: ‘It is My people’ and they shall say:
‘Hashem is my God.’ Zechariah
Rabbi Ben Artzi stated that the natural catastrophes are linked to the
political situation in Israel.
“All the right-wing should unite,” Rabbi Ben Artzi said. “If they do not all
come together, there will be elections for the fourth time. It is a shame; all
the money wasted for nothing, just because of pride and stupid ego. A man is
alive today and tomorrow he is dead. The left has no chance to succeed because they
are driven by pride in the materialistic world.”
The rabbi suggested another home-based solution for these end-of-days
“Parents keep your children away from drugs, gambling, drinking, and
assimilation, Rabbi Ben Artzi said. “All the scammers, thieves, bribes,
adulterers, deviants and villains will all be revealed before the Messiah
He also urged the Jews living outside of Israel to come home now.
“Jews who live abroad can tip the scales and must come to live in the Land
of Israel,” Rabbi Ben Artzi said. “Jews living in Israel: do not leave the Holy
Land. Such a gift you have in the land! Keep the boundaries and watch out
for East Jerusalem more than anywhere else.”
Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near".
