Economic Armageddon: It is here!

The US economy is officially in a depression according to some of the leading economists in America and the UK. What is to come is going to be even scarier!
Thank you Jesus for loving us in the times ahead. Thank you for always being there. We will need to trust you and have faith in you in the days ahead!
What is to come is as follows: massive debt default, the economic failure of entire nations and possible widespread starvation in the western world.
The leading economists saying this are a who’s who in that field. People like David Rosenberg, Arthur Laffer and Nobel winner Paul Krugman. They all predict that the coming decade is going to be even worse economically than the last one.
The recent data is driving these predictions as the expected and foretold economic summer of recovery by the President is turning out to be anything but as housing numbers from July 2010 indicate a 27% collapse compared to July 2009.
Economists are predicting we need tax reform in order to start any recovery. They are predicting we may see unemployment figures climb to 25% and rather quickly.
They are predicting a very big fall for early 2011 that will drive tens of millions of people caught in it. We are now in it official G#: Great Depression 3.
From a Scriptural perspective this has been foretold by both Jesus in Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13 as part of the birthpains of His return and also during the Great Tribulation in the book of Revelation. We should not be shocked as we are definitely the last generation. We will see the return of Jesus as King! If you are a true believer then let not your heart be troubled by the things that will take place on the earth as you are a citizen of heaven and are not destined for the wrath of God. This is the blessed hope that Christ and Paul tell us in the Scriptures.
We will see some bad times ahead even before the Rapture so stay focused on Christ.

Does Israel Truly trust the US government?

Debkafile is reporting that Israel may be reviving it’s military option against Iran for the fall especially since the Bushehr nuclear plant has come on line.
Washington and the Obama administration are aware of this as indicated by the fact that they sent two high level big guns to Jerusalem to try and check an Israeli attack.
The first big gun was IAEA director Amano who tried to convince the Israeli giovernment that his stewardship of the Iranian situation would be handled quite differently than the lenience shown by his predecessor Elbaradei.
Dennis Ross was the next big gun to arrive. He came with gifts and offers of security from the US. These would be rewards for Israel for showing restraint towards Iran and also for Israel to be a good partner at the peace discussions next week.
Netanyahu has less than a week to decide if he can fully trust the US government as he has evidence not to based on Washington’s non reaction to the Bushehr plant.
The security rewards to Israel would be the following:
1. The US would spread a nuclear umbrella over Israel that would entail the installation of U?S nuclear depots in Israel to show Iran that a nuclear attack on the Jewish state would meet with a US response.
2. US nuclear subs would be supplied to the Israeli navy as the backbone of its nuclear counter strike.
3. The Israeli air force would receive US f-22 Raptors, the most sophisticated planes in the world.
4. The US would arrange for full NATO membership for Israel so as to render an Iranian attack as an attack on all 26 member nations of NATO.
Sources say Netanyahu is likely not to accept these terms. If the Iranian nuclear attack were to happen it would not matter about a counter strike as Israel would cease to exist.

Are we Living Victoriously Here at the End?

While all these things here in this world, here in this life time continue to swirl around us we need to remember one thing, who is in charge ultimately!
The US economy is definitely in a tailspin and out of control. In the next few months we are going to hear the “depression” word and also are going to see food prices rise tremendously. There will actually be food shortages as well.
As the birth pains announcing the return of the King increase in intensity and frequency, we need to always be about the Lord’s work. We also however need to remember it is not the work that will get us to heaven , but it is our relationship with Him that needs to continue to grow, be the cherished thing in our lives and the thing we work on the most.
This generation has never had to face adversity before. Are we ready to start truly beleiving like we need to! To truly trust in Him as things go to pieces all around us?
We must stand up and be counted as followers of the King and that King is Christ the Lord!

US is trying to Pressure Israel

The US leadership better be careful how hard they push Israel in regard to these peace negotiations. Word is coming down that the US government expects Israel and the Palestinians to have a full, not a partial, peace plan in place within a year. All things are on the table for discussion and must be included in the final deal.
This of course will be challenged immediately by the end of the moratorium on building in the West Bank by Israel on September 26th.
The Palestinians have said they will break off negotiations if Israel resumes settlement construction.
Again, Scripture tells us very clearly that Israel is the apple of God’s eye in the book of Zechariah. And we also have the Abrahamic Covenant to deal with as well. Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed.
Also we as believers are told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to stand with Israel and you that those who burden themselves with God’s holy city, Jerusalem, will meet with judgment and ultimate destruction.
Our government better be careful who and what they are asking for! God always keeps His word.

US Economy is in a Depression

The US economy is in a 1930s style depression according to some major economists including David Rosenberg of Gluskin Sheff.
Positive GRP readings and other mildly hopeful signs have been masking what will become apparent to all soon enough: WE ARE in a depression.
The job numbers continue to worsen and the housing numbers for July announced yesterday will not change that.
The US housing marekt dropped 27% during the month of July. Oil prices continue to drop as the world economy slows and spending declines in the large US market.
So please do not be alarmed as Jesus is in control. But we will have to weather some trials and tribulations along the way as He returns for the Church.
The Church in the US has not had to deal with much trial and tribulation compared to the rest of the world.
The US economy and this coming depression will challenge all of us. We just need to remember whose hands we are in and trust Him and Him alone. Our faith will be tested, but as we come through the fire, the true believers will shine forth.

Days of Noah??

Matthew 24:37 tells us that Jesus says His coming will be like the days of Noah. So things on this earth will be like they were before the flood.
Well today we have people in the world disregarding deliberately the God of the universe and His ways. Wickedness and evil are prevailing on the earth also.
It has been around 1,977 years since man was first given the choice to be re-created by events at the Cr0ss. But most of the world has declined the invitation.
Every thought of man is continually evil and their heart is after the things of this world. God will not tolerate this for much longer. Just like the coming of the flood when God gave man 120 years to repent, He is giving man one last chance to get it right.
Will we see everything that happened prior to the flood? Are the Nephilim, offspring of fallen angels and women, getting to reemerge?
I do not know all the answers but things are definitely coming to a head and soon.
If you follow the Genesis story closely and read chapter 5 we can see a picture of the Church in Enoch as he is “raptured” out of harms way prior to the flood. So too, the church will be protected from the wrath of God that is coming on the earth in the form of the Tribulation Period.
In Genesis 6:3 we see God warning of the removal of His Spirit from the earth before the coming flood. We also know from 2 Thess. 2:7 that the Antichrist can not be revealed until God removes His Spirit in the form of the removal of the church.
In Genesis chapter 7 we then see the judgment actually taking place. This is a picture of what is about to come on the earth!
Pray for your loved ones and friends. Be about His work for the time is really short!

Palestinians: Secret War Coming?

Palestinian President Abbas has asked the PLO Executive Committee to allow one month for direct talks with Israel to bear fruit. Then further course of action will need to be decided.
But Abbas is already assuming peace talks will fail once Israel’s moratorium on building in the West Bank ends of September 26th.
Abbas also dispatched a letter to the members of the quartet: US, Russia, EU and the UN on Sunday stating that the Palestinians will withdraw from the talks the moment Israel begins construction of settlements again in the West Bank.
Abbas is also facing alot of pressure from all Palestinian faction like Hamas and Islamic Jihad to name a few for even agreeing to hold direct talks in the first place.
The direct talks are slated to begin on September 2nd. The American government is the reason that the direct talks are even being held.
So the major question is this: Did Abbas agree to direct talks knowing that they would fail in order to apease the rest of the world that is so longing for peace and has he agreed to a secret war that will start closer to the mid-term elections in the US? Only time will tell of course, but this situtation is what Abbas is quoted as saying at the Arab League meetings in the summer this year.
Israel while hoping to make real progress towards peace, is preparing for war declared Danny Danoon, deputy speaker of Israel’s parliament.
Dannon is asserting that Israel knows it may have to act alone in order to stop the Iranian nuclear threat and soon since all countries are beginning to acknowledge that sanctions will not work.
We will need to watch this closely in the weeks and months ahead in order to see how this plays out!

Next Steps with Iran and her Allies

Israel may or may not chose to bomb the Bushehr nuclear plant over the weekend, but this does not mean they will not go after the rest of the Iranian nuclear program before the end of the year.
With the loading of fuel rods at Bushehr, Iran has taken a big step toward its goal of destroying Israel and ushering in the coming of the Mahdi. We always need to remember that Iran is not sincere when it says its nuclear program is peaceful. President Ahmadinejad has made it known that he is called to set the stage for the coming of the Twelfth Imam, the Mahdi. He needs to create chaos in the world, and ultimately try to destroy Israel to do this. His motives are anything but peaceful.
He is bold and unafraid since he thinks and truly believes that this is his purpose on earth. So it should also come as no shock that reports are surfacing of a possible surprise attack on Israel and soon.
Debkafile is reporting that war preparations are underway in Iran, Syria and Lebanon to get ready. Palestinian President Abbas is quoted as saying that direct talks with Israel were not in the offing because a big military surprise awaits the Middle East, Can anyone say Psalm 83!
We need to keep our eyes on this powder keg in the waiting!
Here Comes Babylon!

With the US pulling its last combat troops out of Iraq this week and the last of the trainers next year, we are soon to see the rise of Babylon here in the immediate future. The end of the war for the US leaves Iraq to rise now to her place of preeminence in Biblical Prophecy.
This is found in Revelation chapters 17 and 18 as Babylon arises and takes its place on the world stage as the economic center of the world for the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation period. The Antichrist will rule from here and control all economic and commercial activity from Satan’s power seat.
This city that has always been the center of false religion and opposition to all things God will met it’s ultimate destruction soon and once and for all time.
Now all that is needed is for a Strongman to raise his head. This is where the Hashemites may play a part. If you look back on the history of the Middle East, after the breakup of the Ottoman Empire in WW1, the modern countries of Iraq, Jordan and Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Israel were created. The Hashemites, who are direct descendants of Mohammed, were kings in Syria, Jordan and Iraq. In Syria and Iraq the regimes of these kings were overthrown, but they still have power in Jordan. The kingdom is alive and well and is headed by King Abdullah II of Jordan who is greatly respected by the West as well.
After the overthrow of Sadaam, King Abdullah offered the Iraqi people the possiblility of a constitutional monarchy. His offer was declined at the time and instead we ended up with the Maliki government and the potential Sunni-Shiite issues moving forward.
With Iran eyeing southern Iraqand the Kurds restless in the north, here is a possibility posed by LA Marzulli, www.lamarzulli.net, Iraq needs a strongman. It needs someone who will seize the day and make it clear who is in charge. Someone who will and can bring order to the country. King Abdullah could be that man. He holds incredible power in the Middle East because he is a Hashemite, is a king already, and is favored in the West. He holds great sway in the Muslim world.
Here is a frightening but possible scenario: the king could offer part of Jordan as a Palestinian homeland as almost 75% of the Jordanian population is Palestinian today. He would then create a new capital in Babylon and since he has the title of protector of the Islamic holy sites this would work.
He could then offer Israel the ability to rebuild their temple also. Remember that the person who can rebuild the temple and signs an agreement with Israel will be the Antichrist.
Some while we will see some immediate upheaval in Iraq between Kurds, and the Sunnis and Shiites, things will eventually settle down and Babylon will rise to power.

2,000 year old Hebrew Love Scroll found

An exciting archaeology find in Qumran, Israel is showing the special bond between Israel and the Lord. An ancient Jewish message of love toward Jerusalem was discovered in Qumran amongst scrolls there recently. It shows a unique love and faithfulness of God and Israel toward Jerusalem that will never end.
It is so special and is certainly not an accident that this scroll has been found atthis particular moment in Israel. It is hopefully a reminder to the Jewish people of the fiathfulness of God, the specialness of Jerusalem to them and Him and not to ever let the city be divided again.
The scroll is 2,000 years old from the time of Christ. It was discovered in the Judean desert and it contains a poem that describes deep love and affection for Jerusalem. The was written in the Hebrew language that is alive and well today in Israel. This poem is also strikingly similar to the national anthem of Israel, Ha Tikvah. Both thew poem and the anthem speak of the eternal hope of Israel being a free nation again in Zion and Jerusalem. That time is now.
The Arab-Islamic enemies of Israel today, with the support of most of the world, direct all their efforts to rob Jerusalem from Israel. They believe that if they can pry Jerusalem from Israel that they can eliminate Israel from the map of the world. They are wrong and greatly delusional. The Lord will not allow Jerusalem to be taken ever again from His people. He has actual put His Name on the Temple Mount. The judgment of God will come before anything will ever happen to Israel again.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May Israel and America be blessed in these Last Days.
